This book could have been 5
star if I wasn't just a wee bit tired of books set on the trail west.
Not the author 's fault. She did her job and did it well.
A
quick blurb : Five sisters meet for the first time at their sorry
father 's funeral. Having burned their bridges behind them when they
left their various homes and having little money to start afresh they
decide to join a wagon train of 100 mail order brides going west to
California.
Willow is the youngest and smallest of the sisters
but largest in the sass and spitfire department. Willow and one of the
wagon train bosses (Rafael) butt heads from the very beginning. Sparks
fly and both trouble and adventure follow.
This book would be
classified as an adventure / comedy / historical romance and is the
first book in a series of five novels (each book focusing on a different
sister).
It is clean with no cussing or violence.
