The Moonlit Door by Anne Maybury

The Moonlit DoorI almost gave this 2 1/2 stars but decided that was a bit mean. And yet 3 stars seems generous.
The story is gripping and yet frustrating. Its more of a psychological thriller than a 'who dunnit '. A girl is accused of murder. Things keep happening to make her look more guilty and dillusional. No one believes her. Everyone seems against her. Heck, by the time I 'm 3/4 through I 'm the one ready to jump a cliff nevermind the heroine.

It was like watching a Lifetime mystery movie.... You cant help but be engrossed while its on but as soon as the closing credits scroll you're like "FINALLY! I can go the bathroom now." and think no more about it...

BOTTOM LINE : An ok diversion but don't storm your library for a copy

CONTENT :

SEX : None. But one character pressures a female to be intimate. (she refuses)
VIOLENCE : Very Mild
PROFANITY : Very Mild
